Elden Ring: Shadow of the Erdtree – All Revered Spirit Ash Locations

Revered Spirit Ashes are a crucial item in Shadow of the Erdtree, essential for upgrading the level of your Spirit Ashes in Elden Ring's DLC. By using them, you can enhance your favorite Mimic Tears' damage and defenses, ensuring they stay effective throughout your journey in the newly added regions.

Gravesite Plain Locations

Hanging Tree Ash

You can obtain your first Revered Spirit Ash fairly early in the game. It’s located southeast of the Scorched Ruins, at an altar with a headless statue. To reach it, start at the first Site of Grace (Gravesite Plain) and head straight past the hanging tree along the path, just before reaching a cliff.

Abandoned Ailing Village Ash

Starting from the Greatbridge, North Site of Grace, head north until you come across the Abandoned Ailing Village. As you make your way through to the end of the village, passing a few houses, keep to the right. You’ll spot the statue in the distance, but be cautious—four flying creatures are lurking nearby.

Turtles Pond Ash

This Revered Spirit Ash is found east of Prospect Town, situated south of Belurat along the cliffs. Search for a small pond with turtles near the eastern cliff, and you'll discover a headless statue there holding the Ash.

Ellac River Cave Ash

To reach the Cerulean Coast, you'll need to navigate through poison swamps located east of the Castle Front Site of Grace.

Upon reaching the swamps, take a left and look for a large crab in a lake. Enter the passage on your left, moving past several Mirandas along the way.

Continue along the path until you spot a statue on your right containing the ash. It’s located just before reaching the Site of Grace at Ellac River Cave.

Bellurat, Tower Settlement Locations

Belurat Entrance Ash

Right after entering the Legacy Dungeon, you'll come across a room filled with small scorpions. In the center of the room, there's a statue holding the item. Collecting it will reward you with two Revered Spirit Ashes.

Shadow Jar Belurat Ash

Some Shadow Undead carry sparkling jars above their heads and will quickly flee if they see you. Defeating these elusive enemies grants special one-time rewards, often including Revered Spirit Ash.

One of these Shadow Undead can be found in Belurat. To locate it, follow the path leading up to a broken bridge, where you'll need to jump across rooftops inhabited by Gravebirds. Ahead, you'll come across an enclosed bridge where the Shadow Undead with a pot resides; defeating it will drop Revered Spirit Ash. However, be cautious, as a Horned Warrior patrols the bridge and may ambush you.

Belurat Roof Tree Ash

From the rooftop area with the Gravebirds, proceed past the Shadow Undead carrying the jar, confront a powerful knight, and then take a left turn.

Continue forward until you reach an area with a tree surrounded by multiple enemies. Be cautious, as some will attack you on sight, while others will join the fight once you become hostile. After passing the tree, you’ll find the statue on your left.

Belurat Stagefront Stairs Ash

Once you have defeated the boss of Belurat, the Divine Beast Dancing Lion, search for a lift next to the Stagefront that will take you to a large door.

On the opposite side, you'll find a large stairway that leads to the blocked Tower of Shadow. At the base of the stairs, there is a large altar featuring a headless corpse, which holds a Revered Spirit Ash.

Scadu Altus Locations

Moorth Ruins Ash

Upon arriving at Moorth Ruins, located in the eastern part of the region, proceed past the ruins marked on your map. As you approach the edge of this ground level, you will spot the statue.

Bonny Village Ash

As you make your way to the Cathedral of Manus Metyr, you'll need to descend through Moorth Ruins and pass through Bonny Village.

While in Bonny Village, head to the northeast side. There, you'll find a broken bridge and what appears to be a dried-up river. Descend to the ground and turn left; the statue will be located at the end of the path.

Ruins of Unte Ash

Ruins of Unte is a location accessible only through a secret path in Shadow Keep. To reach it, descend a ladder next to the drawbridge leading into Specimen Storage, then go behind an illusory wall next to a collectible painting. While exploring this area, you’ll come across a coffin that transports you to Castle Watering Hole.

Once you arrive, move forward while riding Torrent. You'll encounter a Furnace Golem rising from the ground. You can choose to engage it or simply turn left and search for the statue with the Revered Spirit Ash. It is located in the southeast part of the ruins marked on your map.

Village of Flies Ash

If you head south from the Castle Basin beneath the Shadow Keep, you’ll discover a hidden settlement of Fly-Men further down the Recluses' River.

Continue along the ridges until you arrive at the Recluses' River Downstream Site of Grace. Rather than using the tombstones to descend near the waterfall, stick to the cliffside path that hugs the western wall.

Following this route will lead you down a series of ledges and paths guarded by Fly-Men, as well as into a larger area populated by more Fly-Men and a Curseblade Ascetic. To the right of this group, a side path will take you further west, beneath the bridge south of Bonny Village. Here, you’ll discover the Village of Flies. By climbing up the slopes on the far west side, you can find an altar hidden behind some rocks that contains the Revered Spirit Ash.

Shadow Keep Locations

Specimen Storehouse Ash

The Specimen Storehouse is one of the largest areas in *Shadow Keep*, functioning as an expansive library filled with Shadow Undead, Fire Knights, Vulgar Militia, and various specimens.

Speaking of which, the first Revered Spirit Ash in the Specimen Storehouse can be found on the first large specimen you encounter upon entering the room. To access it, approach from the left side (be cautious of the enemies along the way), ascend the stairs to the next floor, and find a spot where you can jump to the top of the bookshelves.

Now, it's a matter of platforming, jumping from bookshelf to bookshelf until you reach the beast. The ash will be located directly above its head.

This is the final main floor you'll access in the Specimen Storehouse in *Shadow Keep*. To reach it, continue progressing until you arrive at a room on the fifth floor, where you'll find a lever that adjusts the positions of the hanging specimens in the center of the area. Once you've altered their positions, you’ll be able to climb up.

After reaching this Site of Grace, where Freyja is also located in the same room, exit to your left and continue along the path in a straight line. You'll come across another hanging specimen on your left. Jump to it, and you’ll discover the ash.

Ancient Ruins of Rauh Locations

Temple Town Ruins Ash

The Revered Spirit Ash in Rauh Base can be found near the Temple Town Ruins, located in the southern area, just past the location of the Map Fragment.

Ride along the edge of the waterfall that feeds into the Ellac River in Gravesite Plain, and you’ll discover an altar featuring a headless statue that holds the Revered Spirit Ash.

Shadow Jar East Rauh Ruins Ash

One of the Shadow Undead carrying jars in the maze-like Rauh Ruins can be defeated to reveal a Revered Spirit Ash, and fortunately, this one is found early while exploring the region.

Enter the interior of the first ruins from the Viaduct Tower as you come from the Shadow Keep, and explore the first large room to find a Shadow Undead carrying the jar you need. Be cautious, as a Curseblade Ascetic is lurking among the roots above, ready to ambush you.

West Rauh Ruins Gazebo Ash

One of the two Revered Spirit Ashes in the western half of the Rauh Ruins can be found after crossing the broken bridge and either dodging or defeating the large Furnace Golem. This ash is located near the western Site of Grace.

Navigate through the interior ruins in the western half and ascend the stairs to find an exit back outside. You'll notice a stone gazebo to your right, as well as another one situated in a pool of water, guarded by two Horned Warriors. Inside the altar, there’s a headless statue holding the Revered Spirit Ash. You'll need to either take on the warriors one at a time carefully or ride through quickly with Torrent.

Shadow Jar West Rauh Ash

Another Shadow Undead in the Rauh Ruins carries a jar containing a Revered Spirit Ash, but this one is more cleverly hidden than the others.

From the western ruins Site of Grace, enter the ruins, ascend the stairs, and exit to the area with the two gazebos and Horned Warriors. Ride past them, but stay to the right of the next interior that leads into a scarlet rot-filled ruin. Instead, look for a path that leads above a pool with a Sealed Spiritspring into some northern ruins populated by Bloodfiends.

Head towards the back to locate a path leading down to the northern ledge, where you'll encounter numerous Spider Scorpions. You'll also find a lift that can take you back up. This lift leads to a higher ledge than where you first entered, and one of the Shadow Undead up here carries the jar you’re looking for.

Midra's Manse Locations

Midra's Manse Large Inquisitor Ash

Enter the manor/dungeon and navigate through the area until you reach a loft that leads across a bridge to the western half of the manor, where you’ll find Midra's Library Site of Grace.

At the far end of the library, a massive Inquisitor can be seen perched on a high ledge, but you won’t be able to reach him at first. Drop down into the library and head east into a room featuring a large portrait of Midra. Attack the portrait to reveal an illusory wall.

Climb the ladder beyond the illusory wall back into the library to find a lever that extends a bookcase on the far wall. Platform your way across to reach it and access the ledge where the Inquisitor awaits. Be cautious, as he can deal significant damage if you don’t ambush him quickly. Defeating him for the first time will reward you with a Revered Spirit Ash.

Midra's Manse Second Floor Chandelier Ash

This Revered Spirit Ash is located near the end of your journey through the dungeon. After navigating through the library and defeating the large Inquisitor to obtain his Revered Spirit Ash, continue heading east to find the Second Floor Site of Grace located near the boss arena.

Next to the Site of Grace, look north to spot a ladder that you can kick down for a shortcut. Near the ladder, there’s a large chandelier that you can jump onto. The Revered Spirit Ash is located on this chandelier.

Enir-Ilim Locations

Enir-Ilim Large Inquisitor Ash

The first Revered Spirit Ash you’ll likely encounter in Enir-Ilim can be found early on inside the Legacy Dungeon. From the First Rise Site of Grace, make your way to the nearby plaza filled with Inquisitors. There, you’ll spot a fairly large Inquisitor circling a fountain in the center.

By defeating this large Inquisitor (while being mindful of his fellow Inquisitors), you’ll discover that he drops a Revered Spirit Ash the first time you kill him.

Enir-Ilim First Rise Tree Root Altar Ashes

Two Revered Spirit Ashes can be found at a single altar in Enir-Ilim, which is also located early in the Legacy Dungeon.

In the same plaza beyond the First Rise, where many Inquisitors (including the large one that drops a Revered Spirit Ash) are located, you can find a lower area to drop down to among the roots of several trees.

Look for a passage between the roots, and you'll discover a small enclosed area where several Fly-Men are praying at an altar in front of a tree trunk. This is the only Revered Spirit Ash statue that still has its head!

Enir-Ilim Spiral Rise Altar Ash

The final Revered Spirit Ash can be found in the middle of the Legacy Dungeon, not far from the Spiral Rise Site of Grace.

Ascend the spiral staircase until you can step out onto the rooftops, and be ready to fight your way through several Gravebirds.

Once you defeat the last of the Gravebirds and find some more stairs leading further up, look to your left into a small altar room at the base of the stairs. Inside, you'll discover the Revered Spirit Ash.
