Final Fantasy XIV: All Deep Dungeon Mounts Guide

ree

Deep Dungeons are unique instanced content designed for challenging and engaging gameplay. Deep Dungeons offer a randomized experience, consisting of multiple floors with increasing difficulty as players progress deeper. Players enter with a fixed level and abilities, and their goal is to explore each floor, defeat enemies, and gather treasures while aiming to reach the deepest levels. The gameplay revolves around strategic decision-making, resource management, and team coordination, as groups of players work together to conquer enemies and unlock valuable rewards such as mounts.

The Palace of the Dead

The Disembodied Head mount can be traded for 10 Gelmorran Potsherd from E-Una-Kotor at Quarrymill. Gelmorran Potsherd are found inside The Palace of the Dead in either bronze chests, or from clearing Floor 50. Bronze chests have a very low chance of dropping them.

Black Pegasus

The Palace of the Dead

To acquire the Night Pegasus whistle, first ensure you've unlocked the Palace of the Dead dungeon situated in the South Shroud. This can be achieved by embarking on "The House that Death Built" quest, assigned by Nojiro Marujiro in New Gridania.

Within this roguelike dungeon, players gradually explore deeper floors. To have a chance at obtaining the whistle, you must venture to the Accursed Hoard located on Floors 151 to 200.

Enclosed within Gold-trimmed sacks, the coveted item awaits, although its drop rate is entirely randomized. After securing your sacks, make your way to Quarrymill in the South Shroud and consult the Expedition Bishop to unseal your sack. The sack's contents will be unveiled, potentially revealing the Night Pegasus whistle if luck is on your side.

This mount is also available for purchase via the Market Board.

Dodo

Heaven-on-High

Acquiring the Dodo Mount involves obtaining a Dodo Horn, which exclusively emerges from Platinum-haloed Sacks discovered within Heaven-on-High. These particular sacks are confined to Floors 71-100 of the location.

Once you've secured the sacks, proceed to the Confederate Appraiser located in The Ruby Sea. There, you'll hope for favorable luck as you open the sacks in anticipation of being rewarded with a Dodo Horn.

This mount is also available for purchase via the Market Board.
