Geralt of Rivia Joins Diablo IV in Special Collaboration

In an exciting collaboration, CD Projekt Red and Blizzard are bringing Geralt of Rivia into the realm of Diablo 4. This partnership coincides with the upcoming release of The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt Remastered, which is set to launch on Battle.net on September 29, identical to its release on other platforms.

Players who purchase the expansion, Songs of the Past, on Battle.net will unlock a unique Geralt-themed skin for use in Diablo 4. This allows players to take on the role of the famed monster slayer as he battles through the dark world of Sanctuary. The announcement was shared by Blizzard, while CD Projekt Red highlighted its long-standing admiration for Blizzard's games.

Amelia Korzycka, CD Projekt's community and social media manager, expressed her enthusiasm for this crossover. She shared her personal connection to Blizzard, recounting her excitement as a longtime fan of their games. "Being a long-time fan of Blizzard games, I’m very excited that The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt – the first game I worked on after joining CD Projekt Red almost 12 years ago – is now coming to Battle.net," she noted. Korzycka reflects on her journey, recalling the early days when she saw fans sporting StarCraft T-shirts back in 1998.

The special Geralt skin will be available to players who pre-purchase Songs of the Past on Battle.net. For those who decide to acquire the expansion after its initial launch, there’s no need to fret; the skin will also be accessible to any player who purchases it once it is fully released next year.

The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt Remastered was unveiled during Gamescom Opening Night Live 2026, and it will be available as a free update for anyone who already owns the game.
