Updated: 12 hours ago

Ubisoft is bringing a fully reimagined version of the beloved PC classic, Heroes of Might and Magic III, to PC. This remake aims to revitalize the iconic turn-based strategy game that has garnered both popularity and critical acclaim over the years.

Players will have the opportunity to rediscover the enchanting world of Heroes of Might and Magic III, complete with its two expansions. The remake promises a host of enhancements, including upgraded visuals and smoother animations, all designed to breathe new life into the game.

Gamers can choose from nine unique factions, each featuring its own distinct playstyle and a variety of fantastical creatures. The gameplay encourages exploration of a vast world filled with resources and artifacts, allowing players to expand their towns and develop their heroes and armies for a rich tactical experience.

The remake stays true to the original campaigns while enhancing the narrative with a new prologue and epilogue, along with cinematic scenes that deepen the storytelling. Players can engage in turn-based matches with up to eight participants, whether online or locally, where shifting alliances and emerging rivalries will shape the outcome of battles.

From day one, players will have access to community-created maps or can unleash their creativity using the provided editing tools. These tools will allow users to fine-tune game balance and design their own maps or campaigns, offering an even more personalized gaming experience. While there is currently no release date announced for Heroes of Might and Magic III, fans of the franchise can already add the game to their wishlist on its Steam page.
