- Final Fantasy XIV: All Dungeon Mounts Guide
Final Fantasy XIV features a wide variety of dungeons, each with unique mechanics, boss fights, and rewards, contributing to both the narrative and character development. Magitek Predator Ala Mhigo In order to obtain the Magitek Predator mount, achieving level 70 is the first requirement. Following this, completion of the Main Scenario Quest named "The Measure of His Reach" becomes necessary; this quest serves as the second-to-last step in the Stormblood questline. Subsequently, your following Main Scenario Quest will be titled "Stormblood," and progression will demand entrance into the Ala Mhigo dungeon. The opportunity to acquire the Magitek Predator mount arises from the dungeon's final boss encounter, featuring Zenos yae Galvus. Focusing on his mechanics becomes crucial, particularly if you intend to repeatedly run the dungeon to secure the mount drop. Familiarizing yourself with Zenos' abilities is highly recommended, as his battle can prove challenging if approached without proper understanding.
- Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain Walkthrough – Mission 30: Skull Face
Your final infiltration mission is a challenging gauntlet of stealth, where you are tasked with infiltrating a hilltop castle ruin. Quiet is a valuable ally for this section of the game, as she has multiple sniper perches available and can be repositioned to cover your entry. Be sure to bring your Sneaking Suit, and it's highly advisable to tackle this section at night. The first half of the fortress is relatively easy to infiltrate. Enter the gate from the left side, avoiding the guards' field of view, and hug the right side of the fortress while staying low. As long as you remain in cover and darkness, and are mindful of the guards' fields of view, you should be able to advance halfway through the complex without significant trouble. The real challenge lies in the brightly lit, open plaza just beyond the midway arch. This area is heavily guarded, with numerous security personnel and light fixtures scattered throughout. If even one guard becomes alerted, the likelihood of being spotted is high due to the sheer number of guards present, all prepared to launch a search at a moment's notice. Your best strategy in this situation is to exercise extreme caution and rely on a bit of luck. Look for the few available points of cover, such as spaces between containers or beneath arches, and make your way gradually toward the perimeter. Move from one cover to the next with great patience, advancing slowly to minimize the risk of detection. If you find yourself cornered and on the verge of being detected, you can resort to using Stealth Camouflage and make a quick sprint forward. However, doing so will compromise your chances of achieving an S-rank. Still, if your main goal is simply to reach the end, two quick bursts of Stealth Camouflage followed by sprints can get you from the plaza to the finish line. At the end of the level, you'll finally come face-to-face with Skull Face, who is quite a character. After you catch up to him at the conclusion of Mission 30, he delivers a lengthy speech, revealing more about his motivations and plans.
- Final Fantasy XIV: Shadowbringers – PS4 Review
Almost a decade ago, Square Enix released Final Fantasy XIV to a lukewarm reception, setting the stage for a potential disaster. Yet, three years later, the Japanese developer rose from the ashes, crafting a vastly improved experience in A Realm Reborn. While not perfect, it laid the foundation for remarkable expansions like Heavensward and Stormblood. Now, with Shadowbringers, Square Enix has truly outdone themselves. A World Torn Asunder In Shadowbringers, a mysterious figure thrusts players into The First's world, unfolding a captivating tale that delves deep into the lore. This alternate reality, while reminiscent of familiar places, is strikingly different due to divergent events, providing a mix of nostalgia and novelty. A Darker, Grimmer Narrative Shadowbringers weaves a compelling, dark narrative, rivaling the intensity of Heavensward. With a Japanese RPG flair, it reunites players with old allies, forging new alliances to prevent an impending apocalypse. While the antagonist may lack the charisma of past foes, the epic conclusion is sure to please fans. Gameplay Refined Gameplay has been streamlined for most jobs, offering a consolidated yet satisfying experience. Tanks receive significant overhauls, though some may find them less distinct. Healing sees a rework, enhancing the dynamics of the role. New jobs like Gunbreaker and Dancer inject fresh excitement, adding depth and variety to gameplay. Dungeons and Trials Shadowbringers boasts exceptional dungeons, culminating in a breathtaking final scenario. While trials lack the depth of past entries, the overall experience remains engaging. Post-credits hints tease exciting possibilities, keeping players eagerly anticipating what’s next. The Verdict Final Fantasy XIV: Shadowbringers elevates the MMO genre to new heights, presenting a story that rivals the best in Japanese RPG history. Impeccable pacing, captivating events, and innovative mechanics make it a must-play adventure. Despite a few minor flaws, this expansion sets a new standard for the genre, delivering an exquisite and unforgettable experience. Final Score:
- Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain Walkthrough – Mission 29: Metallic Archaea
A launcher will be useful in this situation, and you’ll need supply drops to complete the fight. As soon as the battle begins, break left toward the fence past the red-and-white striped tower. Don’t worry about Code Talker; he’ll be safer with you gone. Run to the break in the fence and position yourself just behind it. Your view will become fuzzy as you reach the edge of the mission arena. Stay within a few meters of the fence to the right of the gap. The Skulls will follow you here, keeping Code Talker out of danger, but the zombies are likely to pose a threat. Using the gap in the fence for cover, begin sniping the Skulls with your rocket launcher. Stay mobile and continue using the fence to block their main attacks. Focus on one or two Skulls at a time, and ensure that you constantly call in supply drops on your side of the fence. Since you're at the edge of the map, the Skulls can't surround you, allowing you to take them down fairly easily if you stay quick on your feet. Once all the Skulls are defeated, the zombies will also drop.

This can be achieved by embarking on "The House that Death Built" quest, assigned by Nojiro Marujiro in New Gridania. Within this roguelike dungeon, players gradually explore deeper floors. To have a chance at obtaining the whistle, you must venture to the Accursed Hoard located on Floors 151 to 200. Enclosed within Gold-trimmed sacks, the coveted item awaits, although its drop rate is entirely randomized. After securing your sacks, make your way to Quarrymill in the South Shroud and consult the Expedition Bishop to unseal your sack. The sack's contents will be unveiled, potentially revealing the Night Pegasus whistle if luck is on your side. This mount is also available for purchase via the Market Board. Dodo Heaven-on-High Acquiring the Dodo Mount involves obtaining a Dodo Horn, which exclusively emerges from Platinum-haloed Sacks discovered within Heaven-on-High. - Final Fantasy IV – iOS Review
Square Enix's ongoing effort to revive the classic 2D Final Fantasy games takes a step into the Super Nintendo era with the release of Final Fantasy IV Pixel Remaster on iOS. Boasting a rich history of ports, this iteration emerges as a standout, capturing the essence of the beloved classic while introducing enhancements that make it a favorite among fans. - Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain Walkthrough – Mission 28: Code Talker
Code Talker is a lengthy and complex mission, so be sure to bring Quiet along and equip yourself with a Sniper Rifle. Additionally, ensure that your ammo—whether ZZZ or conventional—matches Quiet's gear. Be prepared, as you'll be ambushed by four sniper Skulls halfway up the valley. These characters can teleport and turn invisible, similar to Quiet. As you ascend the hill where they've taken residence, use your infrared (IR) gear to spot them or stay alert for their laser sights. At the first sign of their tracking beams, take cover between yourself and them. Quickly duck in and out to draw their fire, then pop out and spot them using your binoculars. Once tagged, snipe them with counterfire. On the low ridge in this area, you’ll often encounter a crossfire just over the hilltop. Carefully engage these enemies one at a time and position Quiet for maximum support. Once your foes are reduced to zero life or awareness, they will leap away to safety. Once these enemies are cleared, advance toward the mansion while keeping Quiet in a supporting position around the perimeter. Circle the house and enter through the open floor at the top. Most of the windows and doors are barred, but you can gain entry at this point. Descend through the house, carefully clearing each floor as you go. Your objective is to reach the cellar. The Sonar Arm is particularly useful in this area for spotting enemies and luring them toward traps. When you reach the cellar, you'll find Code Talker there. Carry him upstairs, then cautiously position yourself behind the main door. Use silenced weapons to eliminate the troops that stream in from cover. Call the helicopter to pick you up, then make your way up the hill ahead while staying to the right. The landing zone (LZ) is at the top. Advance very cautiously up the ridge toward the helicopter.

- Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus – PC Review
Amid the prevailing trend of video games geared towards ongoing monetization, be it through endless multiplayer, microtransactions, or the dreaded loot boxes, Bethesda stands out. In an era where gaming often serves as a constant revenue stream, they've continued to deliver narrative-driven, single-player experiences. Dishonored: Death of the Outsider, The Evil Within 2, and now, Wolfenstein II. No "games as a service" action here; no multiplayer, no cosmetic purchases, and no in-game currency to be found. MachineGames' Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus delivers a gripping, scripted, linear adventure with straightforward mechanics and no hooks to keep you engaged. It's a gaming experience reminiscent of days past, beautifully brought to life with 2017 visuals and intense, fast-paced gameplay. The journey kicks off with our heroic characters fleeing from the now globally dominant Nazi empire. Manhattan lies in ruins, America has been subjugated by the Nazis, and the resistance struggles to stay afloat in this post-apocalyptic world. Following the events of the first game, B.J. Blazkowicz is in dire straits. Extremely dire straits. The Aryan poster boy has been shredded to pieces and barely clings to life when, unbelievably, the Nazis apprehend the resistance. But miraculously, the people onboard the boat are still alive. After some brief exposition and a brutally intense flashback from B.J.'s childhood that would give Old Yeller a run for its money, the wheelchair-bound protagonist is captured by a psychotic Nazi general and her henchmen. I'll spare you the details, but suffice it to say, the game takes you on a chaotic escape, providing you with a slick new suit of ancient power armor. B.J. and his band of rebels manage to escape to their U-Boat, which serves as their base of operations. Now, they're on a mission to take the fight to the U.S.A. and link up with the pockets of resistance that still battle on occupied territory. Delving into the characters and story from this point onward would do a disservice to the single-player experience this game offers. With its intense focus on a solo adventure, this review will avoid divulging too much, preserving the emotional impact of the story. However, if you've played the first game, you have an idea of what to expect in this department. The characters are enjoyable, the voice acting is top-notch, and while they may be fantastical, they manage to remain relatable and likable, even the bad guys. Especially the bad guys. Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus is a fun, fluid, exceptionally pretty shooter. The gameplay itself remains relatively straightforward yet expertly designed. Your primary activity will be mowing down hordes of Nazis, including regular grunts, robotic monstrosities, and even flame-spewing mecha-dogs. Similar to the first game, B.J. can dual-wield various small arms, such as pistols, sub-machine guns, assault rifles, and the trusty Kraftwerk laser. You'll also wield triple-barrelled shotguns, rocket launchers, grenade launchers, and a colossal laser that turns enemies into molten goo. For a game that revolves around combat for 98% of its duration, the mechanics must be on point. Fortunately, the combat in Wolfenstein II is immensely enjoyable, with diverse weapons that have a distinct feel and function. The enemy reactions are over-the-top, and the battles are incredibly satisfying. The hatchet makes a comeback, offering an exhilarating way to deal with enemies. Relentlessly taking down Nazis never gets old. Weapons can be upgraded throughout the game with different types of ammunition, scopes, magazines, and firing capabilities, among other options. B.J. also has a set of perks unlocked Elder Scrolls-style by completing various goals. For instance, killing a certain number of enemies with hatchet throws allows you to carry more hatchets, while surviving fire damage becomes more manageable after defeating a specific number of fire-wielding foes. The fun part about these perks is that you can attain them in the order you desire by replaying chapters, ensuring you obtain the ones you want before the game's conclusion. Visually, the game is a sight to behold. Although the classic PlayStation 4 version may not match the fidelity of the PC or Pro versions, Wolfenstein II looks stunning even on standard hardware. The lighting is captivating, transitioning from the crimson-lit depths of a U-Boat to the sun-drenched, tree-lined streets of a small town Amerika. Character animations, particularly the death throes of flaming Nazi thugs or exploding Panzerhunds, are well-executed, creating a fluid and immersive experience. While the game maintains a rapid framerate, there are occasional minor frame drops, but overall, the visuals are clean, sharp, and beautifully rendered, showcasing top-notch art direction and set-pieces. Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus offers a fun, seamless, exceptionally attractive shooter with a compelling story that tackles unfortunately relevant themes. The combat is exhilarating, and the weapons deliver a real sense of kinetic power. If you have an itch for some good old-fashioned Nazi face-blasting, it's challenging to find a better game right now to satisfy that craving. Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus is a visually striking, fluid shooter with an engaging story and characters, providing the satisfaction of Nazi-killing action. Final Score:
